Happy Saturday, everyone! We have officially begun the month of December, and you know what that means! We are nearing the most wonderful time of the year. We'd like to take a moment to wish you all a holiday season full of love & light. Recently, we kicked off the season in the town of Port Jefferson Station as we prepared a day-filled with wedding decor for our beautiful bride & groom! As stated in the title of today's blog, we can attest to the fact that the day was indeed as lovely as can be.

Let us begin with the couple's custom ceremonial decor! We were more than excited to bring our Exclusive touches to this fabulous venue. With their newly-renovated wedding and reception halls, the Meadow Club is a magnificent beauty through and through. Our couple's wedding ceremony took place in "The Magnolia" room of the venue, which is known to accommodate approximately 75 guests and be the ideal space to hold an intimate indoor wedding ceremony.
The first order of business was our bride & groom's custom mandap! This special structure began with an all-white backdrop, and a simple tied-back pink draping along the edges. This special decor set-up consisted of warm, pastel colors, made using a criss-crossed pink draping along the back and an ivory draping along the ceiling and pillars. When it comes to a romantic color combination, using pink and white tones together in any decor theme is simply a match-made in heaven.
When it came to the floral combinations of this space, it was aimed to complement the color theme of the decor. Beginning with the floral bar that stood high along the mandap, this was handcrafted using a white & pink roses, placed within a white hydrangea base. Such combination was used in silk floral knots that tied back the draping along each pillar of the structure. In addition, complementing round pieces were placed on six white pedestals that were placed alongside the couple's wedding aisle. It was important that our bride's first walk to her groom would be the most beautiful walk of her life.
Other details of the mandap's set-up included two chairs for our bride & groom, two chairs for their parents, two bajot tables, and one havan kund. For extra flair, we placed three tier lanterns at the base of the mandap as a perfect final addition.
Continuing on, let's discuss the guests' seating arrangements! Using wonderful seating provided by The Meadow Club, our team brought the Exclusive touch to each chair by tying back sheer white sashes. This was done using with a white hydrangea silk knots, made with white roses and fresh greenery. Details, like these, are everything when it comes to decorating each aspect of your wedding day. It is the perfect touch of elegance for this special ceremony.
Once our bride & groom said "I do", it was time to celebrate! Our team decorated for the couple's wedding reception the venue's own Iris Ballroom. This wide space was the perfect space to fulfill the couple's reception decor vision.
Beginning with their stage, we began with an ice blue draping for their backdrop, and continued with two sets of white shelves on both ends. In each shelf of each row, we placed lit candles that truly brought a significant level of elegance and class to this space. In the very center is a hand-crafted floral arch, made up of a white hydrangea base, with added blue hydrangea and fresh greenery. A sparkly silver draping was tied back with using silk floral knots of the same floral combination, and matched well with the shimmer of the couple's bright chandelier.
Along the edges of the candlelit shelves, we added the same floral arrangements as special touches to their backdrop, in addition to more arrangements placed on the couple's end tables. The pops of blue and white across each end of this space is simply stunning. The cooler tones for such a warm, bright occasion was ideal and breathtaking.
Final details for this stage included two sets of lit votive candles that enhanced this space's already elegant ambience. When we stood back and looked at the final product, we truly fell in love with the way it came together, and we are so happy to have provided that for our bride & groom.
Our final decor piece for this beautiful wedding day are the guests' reception table centerpieces! Following the color theme and with an additional special touch, we prepared round blue hydrangea arrangements in clear vases, made with fresh flowers and touches of bright pink roses. With this difference, this allowed both the centerpieces and the stage to stand out on their own in beautiful ways. Surrounding these vases are lit votive candles, once again ensuring that our couple's post-wedding celebrations would be as bright as ever.
