A Great Staten Wedding!

Happy Saturday everyone! The weekend has finally arrived and you know what that means - a new blog post has arrived! Boy, do we have a treat for you in store today! Today, we will dive into a wedding weekend that we had the pleasure of being a part of recently. It will follow the ceremonial and reception decor that our team prepared for the lovely Padma & Ted, centering around their events that took place in Great Neck, NJ & Staten Island, NY. For this summer wedding, the decor consisted of bright and beautiful colors that paired well with the warmth of the season - and thanks to our wonderful team, we have a great amount of content that we will share with you here! We hope you enjoy!

Beginning with their wedding ceremony, Padma & Ted's ceremony took place at the beautiful Leonard's Palazzo in Great Neck, NJ. Their original plans entailed that their ceremony take place outside, but plans were moved indoors as rain fell in the tristate area. Despite this, our team worked efficiently in moving their ceremonial set-up in the venue's indoor ballroom - and in no way were we going to let the weather rain on the couple's parade!

To prepare the couple's dream ceremonial mandap, our team first arranged the set-up with a light brown arbor structure as the base. Then, split draping was added along the front and back with bright peach and chiffon drapes that added the perfect warm touches. For the floral arrangements that you see, we added fresh greens and silk flowers along each top corner of the structure and also used such arrangements to tie the draping back. These silk flowers included roses of peach, white, pink, and red colors. The color combinations of this structure were simply exquisite - and this was only the beginning of the couple's amazing decor.

On the day that followed after their ceremony, our team traveled to Staten Island, NY to get the beautiful Snug Harbor Cultural Center ready to go for the couple's post-wedding celebrations! Thankfully, the weather permitted on this day and allowed the couple to have additional decor on the outdoor area of the venue - and trust us, this botanical garden is too beautiful to not take advantage of! We had the pleasure of preparing both indoor and outdoor decor for the couple's wedding reception, which gave us the opportunity to soak in every ounce of beauty on the premises.

Starting with their outdoor decor, we provided a simple wooden arbor, dressed with two floral knots along the edges of the base. Like their ceremonial mandap, the floral arrangements for this particular set-up consisted of fresh greenery and silk flowers, which also included maroon and peach roses. Additional details to the set-up were multiple white lanterns that were the perfect little touch.

To go along with the maroon and peach color scheme, our team added additional floral arrangements in the center of the garden as well, using the venue's already placed vases.

As the couple and their guests made their way into the indoor ballroom of the property, they were first greeted by the place-card table for the reception seating.

To spruce up this table, we scattered rose petals along each end of the table, which added a gorgeous romantic touch. In addition to this, we arranged a white-hydrangea piece with maroon and blush roses.

Following their entrance in the space, they made their way into the main ballroom. As mentioned previously, we made sure the decor across the space consisted of the same color scheme all throughout, so the guests' dining centerpieces included of the same floral arrangements.

As you know, no reception is complete without the bride & groom's table placement! For Padma & Ted, our team dressed a simple table with a floral blanket that consisted of - you guessed it - white hydrangeas with maroon and blush roses. An additional touch included small candles that would later light up their evening event.

That wraps up our coverage on Padma & Ted's wedding events! Thank you for following along as we detailed the couple's most special wedding decor. We were more than honored to have executed the couple's dream vision. Check back next week for another Exclusive post!
